6th Grade Band
The NAMS Beginner Band program is structured so that each student has the best possible opportunity for being successful.
After instrument selection is complete, 6th grade students are placed in one of three separate classes: Brass Class, Woodwind Class, or Percussion Class.
It is through the use of these homogeneous classes that each child receives the most relevant instruction for their instrument.
The 6th grade band students have the opportunity to perform 5-6 times in their first year of band. (3-4 concerts, 1 parade, and the annual “Band Night”)
